Concert The Carrivick Sisters

Twin Sisters Charlotte and Laura Carrivick have grown up playingand writing music together. Their unique style shows their strong bluegrass influences without obscuring their English roots. Concert Cath and Phil Tyler

Cath & Phil Tyler play Anglo-American folk music using guitar, banjo, voice and fiddle. Their music is a 'a highly concentrated and intimate musical experience that penetrates to the very rawest essence of folk tradition'.
Katy Marchant and Steve Tyler will provide support with medieval music played on bagpipes, hurdy gurdy, gothic harp and recorder.

Les Barker writes strange poems and comes from originally from Manchester, but he's now Welsh.

Painting Exhibition, Dartmoor Youth Roots Band, Cogs and Wheels Morris dancers and School dancing, etc. ; Puddings in church and bell ringers to start off the proceedings

Village fete, with traditional dancing, music, stalls and sideshows. (For the purposes of worried parents, Ale does not feature during the afternoon- except in the Seven Stars at lunchtime.)

This is a special concert which we have been able to arrange but at a higher than normal price and on a Wednesday. It will be a brilliant opportunity to see Chris in a small venue, you won't get many chances to do that these days.Chris has gone from strength to strength since releasing his first solo album in 2006, this year he won not one but two accolades at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, Folk Singer Of The Year and Best Original Song - Hollowpoint
